Attorney Brooke Eaves Wright was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and served as Miss Myrtle Beach 2008, 2010, and 2012. Brooke graduated from Clemson University, where she received a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor in Legal Studies. She later received her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

During law school, Brooke was a member of the Moot Court Bar and was one of eight students named to the Order of the Barristers in 2012. Brooke competed on the National Competition Team and was one of three Moot Court Bar members selected to represent the USC School of Law in the National Moot Court Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers. Brooke was a Top Four Finalist in the Kate Bockman Memorial 2L Moot Court Competition, in which she argued at the South Carolina Court of Appeals before the Honorable Aphrodite K. Konduros, the Honorable Jasper M. Cureton and the Honorable John D. Geathers. In addition, Brooke was selected to argue before the Honorable Costa M. Pleicones, Associate Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Honorable John C. Few, Chief Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Justice Dame Nicola Davies of the High Court of England and Wales in a Moot Court demonstration against a team of English student barristers. Brooke served as the Associate Justice of Public Relations & Alumni for the Moot Court Bar. Brooke was an Editorial Staff Member of the Journal of Law & Education and received the Best Spader Award for the January 2012 and July 2013 issues of the Journal.

As a Myrtle Beach native, Brooke has always been actively involved in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke established the Backpack Buddies program in 14 Horry County Schools to provide meals for over 2,100 food-insecure children on the weekends. Brooke was recognized with the Presidential Service Award and the Nancy Moore Thurmond Community Service Scholarship for her efforts with the Backpack Buddies program. In addition, Brooke received the Sun News Community Leadership Scholarship for her dedication to community service in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke was awarded with the Duke of Edinburgh, Bronze and Silver Awards for her community service. Brooke also received the SC Representative Rita Allison Outstanding Service Scholarship in recognition of her community service. Brooke is very passionate about community service, and she is dedicated to seeking justice for injured individuals and their families.

Brooke began working at Maguire Law Firm in Myrtle Beach in 2014, where she gained significant experience working as a trial attorney. She was a Partner at Maguire Law Firm prior to opening Wright Injury Law LLC.  Brooke has the knowledge and skills to handle even the most unique types of injury cases.  Brooke is an experienced litigation attorney and has worked on many slip and fall and car wreck cases as well as more complex and unique types of injury cases including but not limited to the following examples:

  • Shootings, assault and battery resulting in injuries and wrongful death involving negligent security;
  • Severe burns requiring skin graft surgeries after an ATV caused burns to a child; beach umbrella striking a woman resulting in her death;
  • Defective products and products liability causing permanent injuries; Chairs breaking or collapsing resulting in surgery; 
  • Elevator accident resulting in paraplegia; construction injuries due to lack of proper warning signs;
  • Work injuries while working with rebar, machines, pulling wire, electrical work, and Generating Stations;
  • Fireworks accidents and burn injuries;
  • Chlorine and hazardous chemical burn hotel injuries;
  • Dog bites and attacks to invitees and delivery workers;
  • Tractor-trailor trucking accidents; and
  • Bites and attacks from bats requiring expensive treatment to prevent rabies.                                                                                                                                                              

Brooke’s husband is the director of pharmacy at Conway Medical Center, and they have a son.
